"Memstones. Yes, those would be adequate," Cormac remarked, actually listening to his assistant for once. While he wasn't the gentlest of employers, he did appreciate efficiency and good thinking when it was applied to making his life less of a hassle of living. "And no I'm not done with the Antartic Winds. I wanted to try something different," he explained. "The blue fangs have the same effect to a degree. I wanted to see if I could make something a little more economical. Also, everyone has access to Anarctic Winds. I need something unique to sell."
Play it up enough, people would abandon the former altogether.
"And don't say that name in my presense. I already feel my IQ dropping at the mere mention of it," the frown on his face was quite distinct. "And stop making sense. It makes it hard to argue with you. Although if the scholars are anything like that girl, I do take that statement of them being on my level as an abject insult."
He'd gotten most of the formula down, but unfortunately, the second half was on the second page, underneath the first. "Maybe I should have barwatered the pages." Not that he knew how to do that, but he was sure he could find someone who could. "The rest will have to be written by memory," he said finding a place to sit and attempting to scribble things down as they came. "I guess I can do a lecture on some materials that I've been experimenting with and how they are similar to certain items. Natural things one can collect if they're in a bind."
