Siana/Jareth/Peony - COMPLETE!
Peony kept her opinions to herself for now. They simply didn't know enough to say - and as magic had not been the weapon, this fell out of her purview. But that poor woman's face...
"I will accompany you," she said, her voice soft but firm. "This is not related to the others, but I believe I may yet be of use." Whoever or whatever had killed her had been monstrously strong, that much was clear from the condition of her body. Siana was more than competent - and surely Monaco was as well, if he had been accepted to the force - but there were times when magic felled enemies that swords and axes could not carve into submission.
"We will find who did this to her," she said gently, approaching Siana; now that her gloves were off and ready to be discarded, she placed a hand briefly on the other woman's arm before preceding her out of the alley. She had time to spare yet this morning, since she had carved out a few hours to be here.
They would find Emerald House, and then they would see what they would see.
