Siana/Jareth/Peony
Well, Monaco certainly was not incompetent, and Siana furrowed her brows at the burn he had pointed at. It had been too easy to assume that the possible murder weapon had been a blade, given the wounds, but that mark gave her pause on the assumption. Magic? She would have to talk to Hier later, once he made a thorough examination, but for now she could not rule anything out.
She pursed her lips at Peony's evaluation and nodded. If there was any lingering doubt that this was not related to the previous murders, Peony's words cut them all completely away. "So, not a mage, or not a mage who used magic." Not that Siana had met many mages who refrained from casting, for it was often the only effective weapon they had. She sighed. "That rules out one possible weapon, in any case." She gestured at the burn mark. Not some sort of fire spell, then. "We should go to the Emerald House, see what we can find out about this woman's acquaintances, perhaps even talk to possible witnesses."
Siana stood and noticed Monaco staring at something. "What is it?" she asked, following his gaze.
