Jareth/Siana/Peony
The message had been enough to take her away from her morning paperwork and hurry outside, She had thought the killers were not finished, was rather certain they would strike again but... not this soon. Surely, not this soon.
She felt a bit overwhelmed, when she stopped to think about it. Her life recently was lacking in tranquil moments to herself. She found she missed them a great deal - but of course, duty always came first.
And Monaco, she thought as she approached the crystal, used it to move herself to her desired location. It seemed she would be seeing a great deal more of him, as well. Interesting. How was it all connected? She thought she would have to figure it out as soon as possible, else they might all face dire consequences.
She never visited the Red Light District - as she made her way through the abandoned, sunny streets to the crime scene, she supposed she looked white out of place in her high-necked dress and with the rod attached to her belt. But the early responders made way for her when she arrived at the scene at last. She had gotten to be a familiar sight, it seemed. She approached the mutilated wreck which had once been a body circled it slowly, her expression dispassionate.
There were no symbols.
She had made a thorough survey of the scene, touching nothing, by the time she heard Siana's voice at the mouth of the alley, speaking with the knight guarding the entrance. "Here," she called, knowing her friend would hear her.
