Though it was easy to suspect non-tower mages of performing these crimes, Siana knew that perhaps someone specialized in magic was not needed to commit these crimes as long as he had some study in it. And he had been studying occult languages, that much Siana knew, and while his not recognizing the symbols made him less guilty, he could just as easily be lying. So for the moment, she kept Peony's notes to herself to see what Monaco could possibly provide: more reason to suspect him, or less.
