Altair/Ari/Alecta - Sackheim Inn
Ari arrived three minutes late - not late enough to cause offense, but with nobility, it seemed almost uncouth to arrive early. She had taken great pains with her appearance, selecting a simple, shimmering sheath in a deep shade of royal blue and leaving her hair artfully tumbled over her shoulders and down her back. Alecta, with all her love for ostentatious show, was likely to wear something needlessly revealing, so Ari knowingly chose an opposite approach.
She was not surprised to see that Altair had arrived first, nor that Alecta was not yet present. She approached her friend, kissed him on both cheeks - they were among the highborn after all - and allowed her chair to be pulled out so that she could gracefully lower herself onto it and cross one leg over the other. "Lovely to see you," she told him, her smile and expression easy. Unease was the last think she wanted to display to the harpy, and anyway, Ari had perfect confidence in her own ability to win a battle of wits.
She was not much of a fighter, but she could talk with the best of them.
