Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
"As you wish." Came the simple response with a nod, the pressure in her head becoming frustratingly clear that it was indeed going to be a headache. Faram help her, this was certainly one of the last things she needed today. Considering everything that was sure to be going on, the smith needed to be alert and ready to move at a moment's notice. Perhaps a series of power naps would assist in clearing all of this up? Once Ari was on her way, perhaps she would try administering that method and pray it did not make the situation any worse.
A warm smile was offered as Ari dug into the food, piling things on her plate and beginning to eat. Retrieving an egg a simple tap at the top of the shell would be given, a napkin laid out before the egg would be rolled precisely in such a manner that the egg shell would crack in all directions, causing it to peel off much easier than attempting to pick at it piece by piece. "I shall promise not to be offended." Taking the time to neatly pick away all of the shell from the egg, a pause was taken for a moment before using another napkin to pick it up and offer it over to Ari. "Care to trade." A gesture was made towards the shelled egg Ari had taken from the bowl, in exchange for the one prepared to eat. "And my muffins are average, there is... No need to sing my praises for such." The smile offered was sincere, and would seem devoid of any real particular spite towards herself, as if it were a a simple truth. Waiting a moment to see if the offer was taken or not, Aspel would then begin to work on deshelling another of the eggs, if it was Ari's or a second one from the bowl would be left to the other woman.
"I certainly hope you would. I fear I would be terribly bothered if you did not." The comment was gentle, and perhaps just a touch tender. The smith's eyes remaining on prepping the food in front of her, the cranberry orange muffin sliced in half, butter being splayed over it and the harder cheese being cut into with a hunk of bread also being respectively cut off.
