Riyeko/Peony/Siana/Li/Carolina
In all honesty, Li had planned to go on his way with Carolina, leaving the three women to deal with the problem. The transition to a mere Guild Associate meant that he no longer needed to put up any pretense of protecting the citizens like it was his duty, something that had suited him just fine. When it came to fights, Carolina's strategy was to invoke her status-changing magic and then flee to avoid harm, and that knowledge lingered at the forefront of Li's mind. The undead soldiers had taken that small pause to begin blocking their way, and by the time he struck down the two Carolina had Paralyzed, they were surrounded.
But he'd be lying if he said this battle wasn't thrilling, though this was a sentiment less freely shared. "I can't use Deathbringer," he said to Siana as they waited for the flames to subside enough for them to enter combat once more, "nor any of my Fell Knight abilities. They have the opposite effect against the undead." Several years had passed since they last worked as comrades, but they had worked well together, and he stepped into place to take care of her blind spots like he had used to. While not rendered completely useless just yet, he knew he'd be more effective overall if they worked in tandem, cutting through the knights that kept rising up to take them again and again.
