Lex/Darius/White Magic Defense Force.
Lex nodded her head. "Then I shall go with you," she replied, content with his answer. That was as sufficient destination as any in this chaos, at least until she could catch up with someone familiar once again. She wondered whether or not he would accept her company at this time, but considering the dangers around them, Lex was optimistic that he might. Feeling a wetness near her eye, she used her sleeve to wipe at the blood from the cut above her brow. There would be time to worry about the less important wounds later, she decided, as Lex was determined to heal the rest of her injuries herself--another bold assertion by her sore pride.
Lex glanced around as well, trying to determine the most efficient point of travel. Where indeed was the center of this chaos? There was fire erupting to the left, screaming and bodies to the right, people fleeing in all directions. She sighed. This was worse than anything she'd faced before in the tunnels of the catacombs. If anyone had suggested that she would one day be called upon to stave off a horde of corrupted spirits from terrorizing the living, on the streets of the Commoners District no less, it was doubtful that Lex would've believed it. "Seeing as you've come from that way, and I from the opposite, why don't we attempt this way?" She gestured toward another route, looking up at him to gauge his reaction.
Her mind was already attempting to formulate a new plan, and as long as nothing terribly disconcerting happened aside from being assaulted by undead Kingsguard, Lex felt as if they could accomplish some acceptable measure of helping others. She was now determined.
