Aspel/Ari/Jareth/Kiernan
For a moment, Kiernan panicked and wondered if things were getting so dire that Lucy had decided to swoop in without his commanding her to do so -- it had only happened a few times in the past, more often before they'd been able to fully cement their bond, and besides, dragons had minds of their very own, after all. After he dispatched a knight with his spearhead through its eye, he quickly scanned around and above him: no Lucy except for up above, where she was grunting almost impatiently to come back down again; or perhaps, out of dissatisfaction of the smell of the undead. Then she opened her mouth and roared out of troubled surprise, and Kiernan dreaded what might come.
Another roar erupted from behind him this time, and he spun and saw -- a thing. A beastly looking thing with horns that seemed to be treating Ari as its master, and it had taken to joining the fight on their side.
"What the--?!" he spat, but he had to move out of the way for yet another fire attack, suffering a stab right through the soft spot of his armor as he did so. With a scream he kicked his attacker straight into that creature beast thing's flames and stumbled back to keep out of the way of supposedly friendly fire. He looked to the others: Ari was still singing, Aspel was still fighting, and Jareth looked, well, just as confused as he was himself. "Well, at least I'm not the only one," he muttered, casting one last glance at whatever the fuck that was before clenching his teeth and performing one more Jump attack.
