Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
Aspel/Ari/Jareth/Kiernan
They had met at 7pm, at The Armory as promised. Ari had brought dinner, and Aspel had labored to eat as much as possible in the other woman's presence. Even with the practice of the time before, it had still been hard. Regardless, she had pressed on, sharing gentle affections with the bard and even considering owing up to that kiss she had admitted to as they shared in the effort of cleaning up the take out boxes, and putting things away.
It was unfortunate such a pleasant thought would be cut short when she glanced down at her communicator to notice a locked message from... Peony of all people. Aspel's brows furrowed briefly, snatching up the handheld off the counter to actually read what had been written before her eyes went wide.
"Blast." Was the only word to leave her lips before the peaceful enjoyment of the evening was broken by a rush towards her room. "Disturbance in the commoners district!" She called over her shoulder to Ari, slamming open her bedroom door and scrambling into her gear. A brief thought of abandoning the padding was discarded as it was yanked on and when Ari offered to help with the rest, it was hastily agreed to and her armor was dawned in a fraction of the normal time. Snatching up her helmet and sword, the belt was strapped around her waist while striding to the door and gauntlets had been left off, as she mashed buttons to send out messages to Min, the FG, Kiernan and her friends.
Making it down through both doors, locking them a second nature, thankfully, a sprint would be started towards the commoner's district.
"Any short cuts you know are welcome!" Aspel called through her helmet at the bard, before shoving her communicator away, the final message sent. Quickly, Ari took the lead and Aspel followed, brandishing her sword as soon as they arrived into the troubled area and it wouldn't take long to recognize the threat. "Faram." Aspel breathed heavily in disbelief, she had never imagined this is what she would be facing within Emillion's walls.
A few quick steps would put her in a position to guard the other woman.
"I fear I have faced salads which posed a greater threat!" The provoking yell rung inside her helmet and Apsel readied against the oncoming threat.
