"Go ahead," Altair said, gesturing as he stepped away from the crystal. His hands in his pockets, he started to walk in the direction of the workshop. He was an investor of sorts in its owner, Riyeko Lionward, although he'd been decidedly hands-off with the young woman. She seemed a shy and easily-frightened type, but she was undoubtedly a mechanical genius, and Altair knew he'd see the results of his investment eventually.
He'd never met the boy, Nate, but he knew who he was. Altair always kept one eye on each of his investments, and he knew Nate was working at Riyeko's workshop now. He was rather interested to see what type of person he was.
Following that train of thought, he looked down at Ari. "Have you met this boy, Nate?" he asked curiously. More information couldn't hurt, and when the boy had spoken of unpickable locks, that had been a challenge Altair couldn't have possibly passed up.
