Wil/Merri - 8:10PM
Merri leaned against him, his weight off his bad foot, resting his head on the captain's shoulder and letting out a contented sigh. He was always happy to have him near, and after the stresses of the night before and the fallout all day today, the comfort of being in his arms was exactly what Merri needed. His hand played with the loose strands of Wil's hair, and he considered running his fingers through, but the thought made his face flush that he pulled back.
"It's... tender," he said to Wil's question. "Walking on it doesn't hurt as much as it used to, but I'm still supposed to take it easy for a few days." He pulled away only just enough to meet the captain's eyes. "I'm... I'm glad you're alright, too, and if you hadn't shown up when you did, I-- I don't know what would've happened."
