"No," she continued shaking her head. Although she wasn't entirely certain of what the implication was, that wasn't exactly her concern. Even in person, she found it difficult to put into words in the way that she meant. "You've been in Emillion for years," she said at last. "You've built a life here, and you have a guild affiliation. I-" she broke off, hesitating. "I've had to run before. With everything that's going on right now, it is ... not unfathomable that I should come under scrutiny." How she hated to admit it, but there it was. Not everyone would necessarily agree with what she did in the name of faith. She was a simple woman, but life never was.
