Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
Hilariously, she had intended the sharpening to be 20gil and the 70gil price to include the sharpening. Though, 90gil was probably closer to the real cost of the service, especially if she replaced the bolts like she had intended to. Those might be a bit costly. It'd practically be a new axe by the time she was done with it, aside from the actual metal of the axe head and handle itself. Though... Perhaps she should make comment to him about the head, the more she looked over it, the more she was recognizing that it appeared to be an astonishingly good metal quality. If that were mixed with something else....
His next question pulled her back to reality. "Hrm?" A pause, her eyes finally pulling away from the weapon. "Oh." Brow furrowed, considering his question once it finally clicked in her head. "The sharpening would be quick. The re-braiding of the handle will take at least..." She mulled it over, the leather she wanted to use wasn't currently in stock. "A few hours." The fact that she was to replace the rivets would be kept out of this conversation entirely for the moment. The handle would actually only take an hour, two at most, the rivets would take the rest of the time.
His commentary about the axe being different from a hammer caused what comfort had eased into her stance to evacuate, her posture tightening up again. A few seconds would tick by before she turned to consider him, her gaze firm. "It is quite different than a sword, yes." With a huff of air let out, she would then continue. "I could sharpen it now if you like, and then when you have a chance to visit again with your back up weapon, as to assure you are not unarmed when you leave, you can bring this axe by to be dropped off for a few hours so that I may finish the redressing of the handle." With that an eyebrow raised, waiting for him to decide once more.
