Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
Carefully eyeing the weapon, Aspel considered what she should charge him. If she gave some outrageous number, perhaps he would leave her be and understand the hint not to come back but... Somehow, Aspel doubted that would work. From his behaviors he still seemed to be more the type to obey and work towards what he wanted, if that were gil, information, or... other rewards. Jareth, as much as he had been blustering and frustrating, always worked hard for what he wanted and understood when obeying would get him further than not from what she could remember of him. Though perhaps, that was partly tempered because, in the past, she had always had things she was willing to give. Was he perhaps now looking for some of those same rewards?
The thought was shoved aside, old memories coming to mind would only bring her frustration and not assist in tempering her current mood. "To sharpen, 20 gil. For a full restoration of the handle and fastening of the bolts..." Aspel couldn't help a moment, looking over the axe. All of this felt unnatural, the way she was talking was not how she commonly approach business but Jareth just... Brought something out in her she wasn't sure how to handle, and even though she felt like it would be better if she did, she wasn't sure she actually could. "70 gil for time and materials." A new leather grip with a softer material would increase his ability to hold the weapon, thusly helping to back the power he could put behind the swings and assisting in accuracy if his hold would not slip.
It was hard not to let her eyes linger back to him, but somehow, she managed, finally taking a judging swing with the weapon. Axes were not her strength, and honestly, she probably wouldn't have been able to use one in combat very effectively, but just because you knew how something should look, feel and move didn't mean you had to know how to use it.
