Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
"Ah." The response would earn another nod, a curious brow being raised at Ari's commentary about coffee and her height and odd hours. While it probably didn't help Ari's sleep patterns, Aspel had to doubt it effected the other woman's height much. It wasn't like the bard was much below the norm of an average person, if she was at all. Aspel was well aware that she was several inches above the norm herself, so that at least might make her perception at least a smidgen biased.
"No." Was the only word she could muster in response to the situation at hand, in a forms of agreement with Ari about how in fact, one did not expect to find their mind invaded. It was a... rather complicated matter at best. "But you have," Came the simple retort and Aspel shifted the book in her lap, readying it to be read, a finger picking at the bookmark, as if she were preparing to read. "and certainly, with your connections you will be able find out far more than you should need." At least, the smith hoped that the other woman would find an abundance of information, as, she had some inkling, that such power would be quite beneficial for Ari's own peace of mind at the very least.
"Mm." Pausing a moment, Aspel shifted, gently taking Ari's wrist again and settled her own book onto the coffee table for a moment, before the hand moved to take the green book from Ari's hands as well, placing it on top of the smithing book. Leaning forward, her other hand would move in attempts to grasp at Ari's hip as Aspel leaned over her own leg that had been brought up onto the couch. "If you would allow me to position you..." The words were... Perhaps a bit shy, as her eyes had dipped away "I am certain, that I can... Find a more comfortable arrangement for the eve." And the smith would wait for confirmation before any further action was taken.
