Ari/Aspel - 2:30 AM; COMPLETE
There were a lot of things she could likely say at this point, some of them funny, some of them perhaps even rather alarmingly tender, which while not wholly uncharacteristic for her, were certainly not common utterances. Some thought was given to, If and when you change your mind, but she discarded it; she did not often make promises regarding such things as when. Just because she wanted something now - and oh, she very much did - did not mean anything at all about the future.
But for tonight, she though that for once her few words had been sufficient to express her feelings on the subject. As Aspel's posture relaxed, she sensed they had been well-received. She met Aspel's eyes, smiled as her hand was once again kissed, and to the offer of future escorts said, "I do not doubt that I will do so again." That much, she knew she could promise.
"Good night," she echoed, and stood with her back to her door, watching Aspel's back as she descended the first few steps before she turned, picked up her instrument case, and began rummaging for her key, which she - miracle of miracles - had managed not to forget or misplace for once.
It was not until she was back in her dark, quiet flat that she realized she had once again forgotten to return the jacket.
