"Is that so?" The question was simple, light really at Ari's commentary. More intended to be a responsive measure than a sincere question. "I suspect I had not fully noticed." Though, on some level, she certainly had. This was at least the third time she could recall walking Ari home after some sort of party, and, Aspel suspected, if she really thought about it, probably the fourth time in the last few months. Yet, as she hadn't walked the bard all the way back to her apartment on that late night stroll they had mutually agreed upon, Aspel hardly felt that could be counted.
A mild, pleased but passive smile rose at Ari's claim regarding what Aspel could or couldn't guess. "Perhaps hosting it on top of the Mages Tower?" The joke was passive, the only hint would be the slight bit of humor in her voice and the faint picking up of her smile. Could you imagine though? "Ah," A brief pause was taken, though perhaps she'd feel a bit bad for not admitting it before, this was the first time Ari had so directly asked so the smith could barely bring herself to feel too terribly about it. Though there was a bit of mischief about the idea. "And what reward would I be granted for this bit of information?" There had been no additional kisses since the back room, and Aspel had to wonder if Ari would attempt to lure the information out of her with an offer of such, which would be terribly hilarious if she did.
"Would I?" A low chuckle slipped out at the idea of suddenly finding somewhere to escape off to. "Perhaps, I suspect we shall never know." A glance was given down their path. The pace wasn't the leisurely stroll of the first time they had ventured down this path, but it wasn't particularly quick either. It would most likely be a good twenty minutes or so before they made it back to Ari's apartment. Perhaps more, perhaps less, depending on how they chose to spend their time of course.
