He'd suited himself in another costume, a disguise to hide him from the gate guards, something that would allow him to slip through the gates unnoticed. The last thing anyone needed was anyone noticing him, or attempting to track the Spymaster on the errand he now had to run. There was little left in Emillion worth protecting, but he'd promised his following traveling companions that he would. He still owed Vivian at least this much. With that, Reinholdt had bundled up, disguised himself, and slipped out of Emillion hidden amongst a group of travelers, and traders. A message was sent to Genevieve that he had business to take care of, and would be back within a couple days time. It wouldn't be long before Reinholdt diverged from the group, letting them continue on down one of the trading paths as he headed into the woods. The markers would be hard to find in the middle of the night in winter, but he'd manage to follow the small notches, the light marks, and other signals through the woods and into the mountains. Before he knew it a dark black hole in the rocks appeared, a cave leading down into the depths of the mountains. As Reinholdt neared the entrance he began to shed his disguise, if he was to speak with Bahamut regarding the matters that had arisen, and be taken seriously the king of dragons would need to know who he was in such dangerous times. Hopefully, the old kook hadn't forgotten, or decided that holding onto a shard for Humes was a waste of his nearly everlasting time. |
