audrey/juliette vs. rafflesia, malboro, air elemental (OOPS)
What Audrey hadn’t expected had been the Aerora that the elemental had just unleashed. Audrey’s only instinct was to turn around and hug her sister as the force of the wind (with account to how close they were to the edge), easily toppled them off and back down into the crates they had used to climb up. This only put them back in their prior predicament and while they were away the Rafflesia had summoned yet another friend. Pinned in a corner, Audrey stood tall in front of her sister, squeezing her between the corner of the wall and her back. “We’re going to be okay,” she repeated aloud to her, though she was uncertain who it was used to comfort more. “I won’t let anything happen to you, I promise.” Her brother’s ghosted words flitted through her lips.
With her daggers unsheathed, she held her ground as one of the Malboros lunged at them. Audrey slashed back, gaining some space between her and the monster, but in her onslaught of slashes the other Malboro had lunged forth, capturing Audrey’s right arm in his mouth. The blonde screamed out, using her free hand to stab the beast however many times it took for him to let go and when it did her arm hung bloodied and limp at her side. Her stomach dropped as she looked down at the ripped mess. Her brother came to mind and while she wanted to throw herself on the floor in the flurry of memories this all brought to her-- Juliette was still alive and breathing behind her.
“Cover yourself!”
What she got insured was a weak projectile of white light which hit the malboro in one of its eyes and sent it back, just for a moment. The idea of moving for cover was impossible -- through the poison, Juliette was almost certain she had broken her leg in the fall -- but she couldn't just... lie here and die. It couldn't really end this way, could it, in an alley trapped by murderous plants?
She tried to breathe, to cure herself again so sure could stand, but this time, the magic didn't come.
With one more onslaught of poison, Shiva could no longer wait. With all her screaming, Audrey finally listened as the floor before them froze over and upward constructing the shape of a woman. Shattering it revealed Shiva as she waved her sword, casting diamond dust across the enemies in front of her. Audrey only pressed back, her attention turning to her sister. Her uninjured hand raised up to brush some strands of hair from her face. “Let’s go find a white mage, yeah?” she tried to be calming, glancing over her shoulder to watch Shiva continue her onslaught on the Malboros and the Rafflessia. Once no one was left, the woman turned to face the two of them, her body seemingly turning into that same snowy frost, drifting away in the wind.
