Siana cast a sideways glance at Maria and promptly returned to the crowd. "My strategy depends upon the opponent I face," said she, aware of how much of a non-answer that was. "Any warrior worth their weight would take the same approach."
She did not, at least, disagree with Maria that it was good to take advantage of opportunities to fight against those they may not normally face, as most in the guild, once they completed their training, tended to spar against the same people time and time again. Strengths can be exhibited at these melees, true, and that was the draw for most people; more importantly however, weaknesses to improve upon become exposed, and the experience was unmatched. But to that end, Siana kept her mouth shut.
