She had promised she’d be home by now to help the Sapphire House. Unfortunately, Audrey had encountered Ari in the Bazaar which, by itself, meant that she would absolutely get nothing done today. As she sat in the bar with both Altair and the songstress, she pondered about all the chores she had to get done and all the time she was wasting listening to Altair’s petty problems. It wasn’t until the half-crazed man bolted into the tavern claiming what he saw in the caverns. Audrey had been one of the non-believers, shrugging this man off as some crazed fool. After much convincing, the blonde found herself shrugging her duties and following her two friends into a cave. “I know I’m not exactly a fountain of good ideas, but believe when I saw this is probably a bad one. We’re gonna get mugged.” With no one listening to her, she proceeded to shoving her hands in her pockets, rolling her eyes and following everyone in.
The amount of Bombs and Fire Elementals was enough to want to keep her out of the cave. She wasn’t exactly in the particular mood to grind her skills into perfection, and here wouldn’t be the spot she’d pick. “I’ll scout ahead,” she announced, turning from the group and following the monsters in deeper. They all seemed to be going somewhere, like something was calling them. Audrey crouched through the cavern, keeping her distance and making sure to keep all aggro off of her.
It was the rumbling sound in the distance that caught her attention. Nearing an opening, she leaned away from the rocks only to see a fifteen foot thing towering over an armor-clad man. Her lips parted, eyes wide as she stumbled forward in awe of the monster. She had never seen anything quite like it. It was Ari’s voice that snapped her out of her daze, shaking her head and then reaching for her spiral shuriken and flicking it open. Crouching down into a stance she looked at the others to figure out an attack. Turning around she used Alert, to make sure and keep enemies from flanking them.
