Drake & James
He was determined: last year, he hadn't been allowed to go to the beach, but this year? This year he was on the sand, and there was a conveniently set up beach volleyball court just a few meters away. The only problem was that he was the only one there. But that was easy to change; he just had to find a few more people to play.
The problem, of course, was finding people. He knew that there was no way Ari would be willing to play, though he was sure that she'd sit under an umbrella with her silly sun hat and watch. But actually get on the court and risk a ball flying in her face? Drake had a better chance of getting her out of her suit behind a boulder than he did of getting her to agree to play.
He looked around, trying to find someone that he had a chance of convincing.
And who better to start with than James Killian, who was strolling right by him, looking like he wanted to play a fun game. Drake grinned and trotted over, arm raised in greeting. "James," he called out.
