Ma needed help. Not that she didn't always need help admittedly, but really, this was getting to a point where she probably needed to hire help and not just try to do everything herself except when Darius or Quen could stop by. He'd spent the entire morning just making sure the storeroom was in an even moderately good condition. This of course involved moving about half the boxes around and into an easier way for her to get things, labeling, general cleaning, taking inventory of the things that hadn't been priced and put out front yet against what had been priced but not put out.
Thankfully, the front of the shop wasn't a fraction as bad as the storeroom. Though, admittedly, it had always felt a bit cluttered to him. That was most likely because of the variety of things that seemed to take house in the shop and that same variety made shelving things even remotely evenly, incredibly difficult. At least it didn't look like one big trash dump though, that was something he could be proud of. When they'd gotten the store all those years ago, the place had looked atrocious.
Bringing his arm up, the upper sleeve was used to wipe at his brow, manging to catch some sweat from dribbling down over his face when a flash of movement was caught out front. "Ma." The older woman was digging around a bit further back and Darius glanced over his shoulder. "Hey ma, got a customer." Though, she still hadn't heard him. Sighing, he shifted, trying to get a better look when he finally caught a good glimpse of the woman.
Well... Maybe he'd handle this customer himself.
Straightening out his shirt quickly, and trying to wipe any dust or cobwebs from himself the white mage would push through the door separating the storeroom from the front of the shop.
"Afternoon," He couldn't help the smile that formed when he realized just how pretty she really was. "Anything I can help you with today?"
