Well, if he wasn't the last person she had expected to see when she'd walked into the tavern, she didn't know who was. Maybe Audrey - she was playing it straight these days. Same with Miles. Whatever. She crossed the room and once he'd bothered to look up and notice her, she grinned back at him. "Hey, J. How's it hanging?" She took the seat and waived over the waitress.
The tavern was busy, better to get her order in now. She'd probably have a good wait ahead of her, and she wanted to eat before staking out a spot for the fireworks. And by stake out, she wanted to get to Cian's before night fell. He hadn't said he had any plans for the evening, and so she was going to take the chance that he was at home, reading paperwork.
Once she'd placed her order, she grinned at the fighter. "Haven't seen you around in a while. What's new?"
