Vivian & Hashmal - Toku/Jareth/Peony/Lex/Lavitz
There hadn't been time to jump back, to take less damage from the Quakeja that erupted. He went to the ground, a piece of gravel flying and digging itself into his shoulder. The pain gave him something to focus on that wasn't the spell trying to melt him into the pavement. As soon as he could breathe again, he pulled the embedded debris from his shoulder, feeling the effects of the white mage's Regen mending the skin together.
He stood and tried to think. The mages were their best bet - physical damage didn't seem to do a whole hell of a lot. If he could at least keep the damn beast's attention on him, give the mages some time to cast, they could probably make a little more headway than they had been.
Again, the mantle of rage fell over him, and he surged forward, ax ready.
