Vivan & Hashmal - Toku/Jareth/Peony/Lex/Lavitz
Fear and hesitation while walking along the treacherous routes of a city made into a battlefield were expected, she supposed--having followed careful suit with Peony and cast Float on herself. It had a been spell often employed for more unconventional purposes, but traversing such a dire landscape, the magic had seemed well-suited. Debris and destruction had grown the closer they had traveled to their destination, and injuring herself along the way would have likely served none.
Although Lex had spent much of the evening prior healing and tending to the needs of others, the urge to travel along on this particular cause had proven to be more than she could have attempted to dismiss. (An advantageous situation it had been, of course, that there had been no one in the immediate vicinity to realize her plot and to attempt to dissuade her either.) Following along with Peony and the rest of their current party had been something of a bolder decision on her part, but then, dire times such as these had seemed to call for it.
Faram had bestowed onto her these abilities, after all, and she was required to use them as effectively as possible.
Lex stood behind Peony and the rest, making careful note of the other mage’s words and obeying as she would have Father Luscini. With a quickly-worded chant, Dispel was thrust out toward the woman adversary.
Once completed, Lex grasped her measure and began to weave her first volley of white magic toward her companions. Left with the responsibility of healing and keeping her companions on the battlefield alive, the junior arithmetician calculated the necessary algorithms needed to summon forth Wall. Keeping herself behind the others, she slowly began the incantation.
