Vivan & Hashmal - Toku/Jareth/Peony/Lex/Lavitz
He'd promised Celi not to die - he wasn't sure if it was a promise he could keep, but he'd be fucked if he didn't at least try. And he couldn't for the life of him figure out why he had headed towards the Tower, into the thick of it. All he knew was that Peony would undoubtedly be back there, and he couldn't let her die, couldn't look Pyr (and Sky) in the face if he hadn't at least tried.
(That he didn't want her dead was something he was refusing to think about.)
The first thing he saw was the giant monster and the Sage riding on its shoulder. And that was when he saw the needles fly.
Jareth raised his ax and went straight for the monster, letting the berserk rage wash over him. It felt good - it had been too long since he'd let loose, and now he didn't have to hold back.
