Her arms flailing at either side of her, Esther ended up on her back, one hand thrust out to cushion her fall before she scampered awkwardly to her feet again. The unsteady ground made casting more difficult for her, nervous as she already was. The terror wouldn't unclench it's grasp around her and she had to steel herself as best possible. Injuries she could heal and blows she could protect against.
She had begun casting wall again when interrupted by the flying rock. Pyr's warning saved her from a likely concussion as she dove down and out of the way, tearing her dress in the process (though her mind only heard the rip as an echo in the debris, clothes were not important, staying alive was).
Later, when they made it out alive (hopefully) he would thank Pyr. Instead she forced herself up, "Wall" the magic came down around Peony, hopefully providing her with something more.
