Peony/Jareth/Pyr/Esther vs. Hashmal
The sudden earthquake jolted him, but he stayed on his feet - barely. Shit, this wasn't going to be a viable option for long. He needed to do something, pull its attention from the mages (he'd noticed the other one, he just didn't have time to care) and the squire. Physical damage was as good as any damage, and he moved forward, careful of the fissures and sagging earth.
He couldn't just charge the beast - not with the way the battlefield was. Even though he wanted to run, he kept moving slow, dodging cracks and holes and anything else that got in his way. He was careful to keep himself between the monster and Peony, stopping every so often as debris launched itself at him.
