Peony/Jareth/Pyr/Esther vs. Hashmal
Peony nodded in breathless thanks -- there was no time for words as she dragged herself back to her aerial perch and once again begun to chant -- but fortunately, Pyr was scampering away as quickly as he had come. She had to trust that out of the way, he would be safe (Jareth's wisdom in allowing such battle experience for a child not yet class was questionable, but it was not her place to comment -- nor, in fact, did she have the mental capacity to do so at this time).
The next earthquake rumbled below them, but her footing remained certain in the air, and no debris accosted her this time, allowing her to finish chanting. This time Aeroja swept over the beast, its winds blowing fiercely around it with a howl, though how much it would chip away at the ehalth of something so massive remained to be seen.
