Peony/Jareth/Pyr/Esther vs. Hashmal
He couldn't get to her in time to block the debris, but he stationed himself in front of her, providing a barrier between the monster and the mage. One eye stayed on Pyr; this wasn't something the squire needed to be out in. His judgement had been fucking skewed - he should have focused on getting the kid to a guildhall. But it was too late to think of alternatives.
"Pyr," Jareth barked. "Get behind a wall. Stay there." Flying debris could hit the kid even if he was in Jareth's sight, and Peony had to take priority. She was the only one causing any fucking damage at the moment. His grip tightened on his ax, everything in him thrumming to go all out.
But he couldn't.
None of his Berserker skills would work here - they'd be more of a liability than anything.
