Dancing was exhausting, but the numbers she sat out to breathe did afford her some rather interesting views. One that she had not expected to see -- Aisling Wilde whirling around in the arms of her… she never had quite worked out what their relation was. Cousins? Stepsiblings? They shared a name but no features.
Her own interest in Cian Wilde had waxed and waned rapidly; at best, he had become an unfortunate thorn in Aud’s side (and recently, less than that even). Ash, though, was an occasional colleague. And the look on her face was… interesting.
That interest was enough to have Ari making her way to the mime’s side after the song ended and she was left alone at the side of the floor (out of the corner of her eye, she saw Aud’s pale blue skirt heading in the direction of Cian; she had to laugh to herself). “Nice dress,” Ari commented as she stopped alongside Ash. “It makes quite the statement. Enjoying a bit of family time?”
Considering how close Ash and Miles seemed to be, she had no doubt that the blonde had found the entertainment plentiful tonight.
Ash rolled her eyes. “I like to make statements,” she said with a shrug. “And I wouldn’t call Ci family.” She had no clue what the fuck to call him, and even though family was probably the most correct, he wasn’t. Not really.
“Where’s your harem, anyway? Figured you’d have them both eating of that musical palm of yours.”
