Maspel joint again!/Ari/Lavitz VS Dreadguard
A growl of frustration rang out through the metal helmet she wore, and Aspel attempted to shove the other woman back, while hefting the hammer up in one hand. “Low has yet to come!” The smith sneered back, anger radiating through her body language and tone.
"Maybe it will!" Mag retorted, pushing back. "Or maybe you'd like to run away from this, like you try to run from everything else!"
“I shall give you” And the words died in her throat, and the single handed raise of hammer fell back to her side between the beginning of clearing that Mag had started with the tap, and then Ari’s song. This time, a groan echoed through the metal. “Faram.” Came a huff as all battle readiness slipped from her stance, and one hand came up to press against the helmet she wore.
Mag took a step back and turned to face the Dreadguard, grinning. She couldn't see Aspel's face behind the helmet, but she didn't need to, to know her friend had returned to her senses.
"Don't lose all your fight, now, Aspel. We still need to kick this guy's ass," Mag said. "Maybe figure out where it is, first, so we can kick it after. Ugly bastard."
And with that, she unholstered her shotgun and started shooting the monster, seeking to draw it away from the others and back towards herself and Aspel.
With a grunt, fingers tightened around the hammer, pulling it back up with no small amount of strain as she attempted to fully regain her head. Stepping up besides Mag, the smith would pause for only a moment to give the other woman a nod before leading into her next swing. This clearly wasn’t going to be an easy fight, but really, what one ever was?
