She didn't stop him as he hurried away, but she sighed as soon as he turned the corner. Fuck, did she give him any sort of indication that this was more than it was? She hadn't thought so, but who the fuck knew. That comment about not doing relationships well hadn't been a lie - her only real relationship had been with Cian when she was sixteen. Relationships, she figured, didn't go that way all the time, and she doubted everyone had a father who wouldn't think twice about killing a lover he found unsuitable.
Still, she felt a little bad, but she knew it was better that this shit was in the open now rather than letting him carry on with some imaginary relationship for Faram knows how long. She considered just leaving - Magey had looked embarrassed as hell, and she knew that she wouldn't want the person who had set her straight waiting for her when she got back if it had been her.
But she couldn't just up and leave, could she?
Aisling sighed and grabbed her purse. She kept a notepad for observations with her at all times - it was usually in her pocket, but the theatre required something a bit classier than baggy trousers and a cut off tunic. Finding what she was looking for, she penned a quick note:
