"Okay!" Merri chirped. It wasn't as fancy a place as Merri might have otherwise preferred, but it was small and quaint and cozy. They found an empty table close to the far wall, and the menus were already on the table for them to peruse. The waiter swung by immediately after they sat with an introduction and two glasses of water before giving them a few moments to decide what they might want to drink or eat, and Merri couldn't help but to beam at Aisling, though he was sure that his cheeks were still colored.
He tried very hard not to remember the last time they were together, or else he wasn't sure if he'd make it through dinner without making an absolute idiot of himself.
