Kiernan greeted Ari with a pursed smile that disappeared when the boy spoke. His sister.
"No, kid, I haven't," Kiernan murmured, glancing at Ari as she studied the flyer. "I'm sorry." He knew those words were no comfort to the boy, and his gaze locked back onto the girl on the flyer. About the same age Elwen had been. But that was nearly two decades ago, and this was now, and this boy was too young to have to deal with something like this. With a small sigh, Kiernan knelt down to the boy's level to meet his eyes and firmly rested a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, though. We'll keep an eye out for her. I'll even take some extra flyers, post them around the guildhalls." He glanced back up at Ari with a grin. "Right?"
