Sky/Peony | Bazaar District | lunchtime
"You are welcome, of course." Taking her plate, Peony queried, "Do you and Pyr often consume two or three orders of takoyaki in one sitting?" She didn't sound concerned by the idea, but rather amused by the thought. "I suppose you are still growing. I believe you may be taller now than the last time I saw you." She wasn't certain -- he and Pyr were both still quite short, although Pyr was developing muscles that Sky lacked -- but their father was a tall man, just as Peony herself was tall. Her stepmother was smaller in stature, but even so, she had no doubt that the boys would be shooting up any day now. "Your birthday is coming up soon, as well, if I recall. Sixteen was the age when I gained height quite suddenly." She smiled slightly at the memory; she had shot up like a stalk of bamboo and her robes had been too short when she had arrived in Emillion the subsequent year. For a very brief period, she had been almost perpetually hungry.
The boys' birthday was something she had given some thought to; she had a few ideas in mind, but perhaps as they perused the wares of the various sweets vendors, she might probe Sky for insight. "Have you given any thought as to what you might like?"
