Eden/Kiernan | Shieldwyrm Hall | Morning
Kiernan had been in the Bazaar the night before for dinner and had watched as the vendors prepared for the coming festival, vaguely wondering if any of the taverns would serve white beer as they had in previous years. Not that, of course, Kiernan ever partook in the white beer as a piƱa colada was just close enough to drink in the spirit of the holiday while enjoying the taste of what he put into his system, but it was a creative thought nonetheless.
But business was business, and he still had to earn his keep around the Guild, so he arrived at Shieldwyrm some time after rolling out of bed. Even with sleeping in, he was still a half hour early before he was scheduled to meet up with the aspiring dragoons, so he was able to take his time. And it was a good thing, too, because not five minutes into the guildhall he was approached by one Eden Dire.
"Hey! Good morning!" he answered back with a big smile, surprised when she held out what appeared to be a box of chocolate for him to take. He'd forgotten about this part of the festival. "Thanks," he said as he took it. "'fraid I don't have anything for you though." And he couldn't even claim a lack of money for it this year, at least not without question anyway. "But I'll make it up to you. And... well, she does, actually." Kiernan wasn't even aware that dragons could have a sweet tooth, but hey, if it's one of the easiest ways to placate her. "... you have chocolate for Lucy?"
