Sky/Peony | Bazaar District | lunchtime
It was a good thing Arwel didn't know any better. Granted, when Sky told him that Howaito Dē was a really important part of his culture and he really needed the day off to properly celebrate it, Arwel had eyed him carefully before giving him half a day. Truth was, Sky just wanted the day off, but he'd take half the day. Lunch was a perfect time to break free and dash over to the Bazaar anyway.
The young thief didn't know what to expect when he got there, but the familiarity of all the wares and food brought a giant smile to his face. First order of business, however, was making sure he had some extra pocket change, so he located his target -- a doe-eyed man hanging all over his girlfriend, the distraction was just too perfect -- and with the large crowd, also reminiscent of home, aiding him, he slipped his hand into the man's pocket and fetched out a nice sized coin purse.
Victorious, he wandered deeper into the festival, not quite so dumb as to marvel at his prize while still in the field of vision of his victim. As eager as he was to attack all the fancy candy stands and pastries, the whiff of takoyaki pulled him towards a slightly more acceptable lunch alternative. Well, at least this way, nobody could say that he didn't have some "real food" anyway!
