Audrey’s cheek rested on her the palm of her hand. “I want to try some of Aspel’s pastries…” she mumbled to herself, loud enough for the group to hear. Sweets sounded delicious about now. She watched carefully as Ari failed to make the coin in, grinning at her friend. Surprise then filled her face was she watched young Lille make it in. Clearly the girl had gotten some practice and it wasn’t knife throwing. Eyes glimmered when she looked at Aspel, waiting for her turn. Another fail. Frowning, she pursed her lips. “I was sure you would have made it.” Audrey gazed around at her companions. “Are we all tipsy now? The night is so young still.”
Taking the coin in her hand, Audrey lowered her head down as if measuring the distance she had to throw the coin to make it in the cup. The blonde had a knack for accuracy in things. Flicking the coin up and catching it in midair. Audrey turned to grin at Kiernan, “If I make it, you gotta drink some heavy stuff, alright?” Holding the gil with her thumb and her forefinger parallel to the table she bounced the flat side. With a grin, she watched the quarter flip and make it into the cup. Placing her cheek on her hand again, she grinned and looked over at Kiernan. “Should I call over some hard liquor? Or would you rather take a sip out of your woman’s drink?”
