Ari couldn't help rolling her eyes at Aspel's comment. "Really, Aspel, in public?" She paused for a moment, tapping her finger against her chin, then finished with, "Even if it is true." She grinned, then, at Lille's suggestion set an empty glass in the center of the table and dug a coin out of her own pocket. She had to shake her head at Kiernan's drink order, but it was not the first time she had been drinking with him, so she'd had time to become accustomed to it. "Kiernan's manliness can take a hit. His name alone makes up for any number of pink and blue beverages."
At Audrey's suggestion, she shrugged and said gamely, "I'll certainly try my best." Audrey had better aim than she did, so she assumed she'd be consuming a great deal of wine shortly, but anything for the greater good, after all. She might swap to mead later - spending so much time around Aspel had given her a taste for it.
She made an attempt to bounce her coin off of the table and into the glass; it clinked against the rim but fell harmlessly onto the table. "Ah well," she said with a mock sigh, "I suppose it wasn't fated to be. Go ahead, Lille - show me up."
