An old friend at Shieldwyrm had recommended this place after a hard spar; Kiernan had handed the poor guy his own ass almost too viciously, he even had to admit, and after reaching a hand to help his fellow dragoon up his friend shook his head and simply said, "Shit, Manley, if you're still in that foul a mood--" Even after all these weeks, said mood still hadn't lifted but temporarily, depending upon his company, only gotten less severe. "--you should try eating good food for once. I know this one place, should be about in your price range..."
And so that's how Kiernan ended up here, the warmth of the small restaurant and the smells therein blasting in his face, a welcome reprieve from the cold outside. His stomach grumbled the instant he stepped inside, but his ears picked up the familiar voice of a good friend he hadn't seen in too long.
"Ari!" he said with a broad grin. Already, he was feeling a lot better. "Didn't expect to see you here! I guess the food here really is that good, then." He sat beside her, deciding that he could wait to get his dinner to catch up with her; and, maybe, she could recommend him something to his tastes.
