Kai/Toku/Kiernan
The Thundara had struck the Buer before Kiernan landed from his Jump, and if the spell were any less controlled some of the sparks may have singed his armor. There was a brief respite now, but it would not last; while Councilor Matsudaira tended to the stranger, who seemed an important sort, Kiernan kept his eyes peeled for any fast incoming enemies.
(Fighting alongside the mage gave Kiernan some discomfort, but he knew that if any of them were to make it out of this alive he had to put it aside. Beasts such as the ones they fought today, here and now, did not discriminate, so neither could any of them.)
Lucy roared and an inferno erupted from her mouth, a sign that someone was coming, and fast. Luckily, it would not be one of the elementals he had heard of others encountering, else Lucy would have just warned them rather than attacked. "Incoming," Kiernan called to the other two, and he readied his staff for -- oh, fantastic, another Golem. This was just Kiernan's day. He took a ready stance and, after identifying the area to attack, made a running start for a Double Jump.
