Watera, thank Faram, seemed to affect the larger bomb, and Merri hoped that it would be just as effective against the smaller bombs. It had to be, for the other man who showed drew the attention of two of them, and it was all Merri could do to cast a Shell spell at him to try to protect him from their attacks. He was wary of casting more than that to aid the man -- what if he missed? It was a chance Merri was scared to take.
"Water, not fire," Merri called helplessly to Drake; he couldn't think of tactics beyond that. Bombs were not a foe Merri was acquainted well enough to provide any useful ideas; perhaps, after this was done, should he survive this, he would have to spend more time with the bestiaries again. Water would have to be enough, and he hoped he wasn't the only one equipped with that elemental spell.
But now that the big bomb and the smaller bombs were spread about, the battle had become more difficult with just the five. Merri's eyes wildly moved between each group, debating on where to direct his next two attacks, but he couldn't think forever. Finally, he opted to do what he could to rid the battlefield of the smaller bombs and set a Watera on the lone bomb and a Water on one of the bombs surrounding the Sentinel -- just in case he missed. Hopefully, he would have just enough time to direct another dual attack on the King Bomb in time enough before it would think to attack again.
