Ari almost asked - which is it, the laces or the song? - but then, Aspel being a bit vague was practically par for the course. After a moment, she chose the laces.
"I do seem to spend an inordinate amount of time on your bedroom floor," she said conversationally as she knelt to unlace and tug at the boots. "I'm certain there are a great many things I could say about that, but I'll just refrain."
