Theo/Ari/Loch/René/Drake vs Cúchulainn Healing'll take care of 'em.
The moment she heard Loch's disembodied voice call out (and even after years of experience with Aud, it was still a bit disconcerting), Ari changed tactics. Healing would work, yes, but if the hideous flan (she could almost justify Drake's fear, here) were truly undead, then...
The first somber notes of Requiem were struck. She ignored the draining feeling of being in the monster's presence for the few moments it took her hasted fingers to strum the proper chords and her voice to pick up the mournful melody. She would return to healing them in a moment. First....
All the verses. The flan were apparently more powerful than the zombies she had encountered raiding tombs with Captain Wil, but even they could not stand up to the pearly white glow of the song; soon enough they melted into puddles of dark, stinking ooze.
Leaving only the monster.
No status effects. No elemental damage -- not that she could provide any. But her head was already starting to spin with the additional damage of the spell that thing had unleashed.
Back she went then, starting Soul Etude yet again.
If they survived this, she doubted this song would ever be anything less than perfect.
