Siana nodded. "Indeed. I imagine it would be difficult for many not to feel some sort of cheer this time of year, given the atmosphere of the city."
Siana, herself, always thought that many of the denizens celebrated Faram's Mass too extravagantly, but if it meant that people were a little kinder to each other even just for a couple of weeks, she would not complain except that she wished people were like that the rest of the year, as well. But she also knew that this was the time of year that was difficult for many others still, and the EKP, along with the clinics, was always on alert for those who might struggle during the holidays.
