"I'm afraid I've never been acquainted with Councilor Matsudaira," the dragoon admitted, trying to picture the man's face and failing. Outside of the Fighters' Guild, he rarely met with the rest of the councils, and knew only of Azalea in the Bard's Guild. Still, he supposed a meeting would be inevitable, now that he'd met the second of the three Mages' Guild councilors.
He canted his head slightly, then. "Did Councilor Min give a reason as to why she couldn't attend?" It was a shame she hadn't made even a brief appearance, but councilors were a busy sort-- he'd learned that much from his father, and always held a great appreciation for their hard work and efforts. Being a councilor wasn't easy, that much was certain, and surely there were more important things than a winter ball.
